From design section up to component!

In the first chapter we spoke of both phases in the development of a vehicle, the early phase and the serial development. If we look at the processes involved under a magnifying glass, we can also divide the geometry creation process into two periods.
And precisely this process will be described from now on. Because the word „period“ leads easily to the notion of overlaying or shifting periods, it is discussed from now on as two levels. As shown in the diagram, there are two levels for the development process, namely the concept level and the component level. Both levels distinguish themselves by the fact that they are limited in time for completion and have a limited validity. To get a better understanding for these levels, the design method for a component will be examined. This method is described by the title „From design section up to component “.
